Imagine this: You enter your bedroom, ready to relax, and discover strange, reddish-brown objects on your bed. You pick them up: small, capsule-shaped, shiny, and unfamiliar. A deep concern immediately washes over you. Are they insect eggs? Strange seeds? Medication? Or something more serious?
1. Softgels (supplements or medications).
Their shape and color resemble common softgels, such as those containing fish oil, vitamin E, or krill oil. They dissolve easily and can be discreetly placed in the litter box. If you or someone you know takes supplements, check if compatible alternatives are available.
2. Seeds.
This is less likely, but some seeds, such as pomegranate or date seeds, can have a smooth, dark appearance. However, they generally have a fibrous or opaque texture, unlike the shiny, gelatinous surface seen here.
3. Insect skins or droppings?
This is a common fear: people think it might be something insect-related. Fortunately, these objects don’t resemble insect eggs, larvae, or droppings. Most insect eggs are white or translucent and irregularly shaped. In this case, the objects are too uniform and shiny to be organic insect remains.
4. Candy or edible beads. While some sweets or decorations may look similar, the likelihood of them suddenly appearing in a bed with no food is very low.
That’s exactly what’s seen in the photo above. Three mysterious, reddish-brown objects were discovered in the palm of a person’s hand after they were found lying on a bed. Let’s look at some possible explanations for what these objects could be.
